Speaking Christina Duarte was born in Portugal. She was just 7 years old when she and her mother moved to the US. She later relocated to New York, where she worked for almost 20 years. The Society of Stage Directors and Dancers was a group she participated in.

Over the course of her career, she oversaw a number of plays in Santa Fe and New York City, including the Greer Garson Theater production of Jon Jorie’s The Almost Incredible Christmas Show.

Christina has held the position of director of the performing arts department and lectured, at institutions like:

She also served as creative director of the renowned Santa Fe Theater, “the oldest continuously operating theatre west of the Mississippi.”

She worked as an acting teacher as well. She has actually given both private and on-set acting training. For the 2019–2020 academic year, she has also been given the Brooklyn Teacher Training colleges Fellowship. Christina also received her MA from Brooklyn University.

She majored in acting at Hunter College before earning her BA degree from Bard College. When she attended the Stella Adler Performing Arts Studio, Grand Lady and a number of other outstanding instructors and performers taught her.

In addition to this, Christina belonged to SAG/AFTRA and Actor’s Equity. During her active professional years, she reportedly participated in a broad spectrum of theatrical shows, tv, commercials, and movies.
