The Tamil film industry is mourning the sad passing of their beloved and talented actor and director E Ramadoss at the age of 66. Ramadoss is a veteran actor in the popular Tamil film “Visaranai” and has won widespread love and respect from fans across the country. He also played an important role in the Hindi dubbed film “Maari” with leading actor Dhanush. He is better known as a popular director in the film industry who directed Aayiram Pookkal Malarattum, Karadi, Ennakaago Kathiru, Kanda Naal Mudhal, and Yuga.
Ramadoss moved to Chennai from his hometown of Villupuram with a passion for working in cinema. He made his debut in the Tamil industry by directing films such as Aayiram Pookkal Malarattum, Raaja Rajasthan, Nejma Has Honesty, Ravana, Vaazhga Jananayagam, and many more. Apart from this, the actor has acted in several hit films like Sivakarthikeyan’s Kaaki Sattai, Visaaranai, Nayathara’s Aram, Dhanush’s Maari 2, and Vijay Sethupathi’s Vikram Veda. He was last seen in the film “Varalaru Mukkiyam” starring Jiiva, which will be released on OT in December 2022.
On Monday, January 23, 2023, Ramadoss was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, where he breathed his last due to a heart attack. His son Kalai Selvan took over his social media accounts and confirmed the news of his death.
