Apple is developing a full-screen folding notebook for 2025.

Apple may be entering a new era in its product line, with the latest leaks suggesting a foldable notebook with a 20.5-inch screen. Display expert Ross Young believes this cutting-edge device could be released as early as 2025.

Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, recently said that the tech giant is developing a foldable iPad for 2024. However, Yang and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman disagreed with the idea and said there are no signs of such a product coming out anytime soon.

Back in February 2022, Young shared similar information, saying that Apple was in talks with suppliers about a folding notebook with a 20-inch screen. The most recent reports suggest that the device will be an all-screen MacBook with two screens, allowing users to use a full-size on-screen keyboard when folded or connect an external keyboard when opened. Yang believes this is a “completely new product category” for Apple.

The current Mac notebooks have just one screen, so this new design could revolutionize the market. But it is yet to be clarified whether the rumored 20-inch foldable will be an iPad, a Mac, or something completely new. Many sources say that 2024 may be too early for such a sophisticated device, as folding machines like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are already becoming the norm. It will be interesting to see how Apple markets its new foldable products in the future.

Apple has always been a leader in the tech industry, and the release of a foldable notebook could be a game-changer for the company. It could be the start of a new era of innovation and design, and it will be exciting to see what the company comes up with next. Keep up to date with the latest news and updates on to find out more.
